This time of year our weeks seem to get busier and busier, until summer break when things are busy but we have more hours in the day (since the kids are out of school). Busy is good though, for us!
Last weekend Cohen (and Matt) had Taekwondo belt testing. They both did excellent and had fun. Taekwondo has been such a great activity for Cohen and it’s been amazing to see him advance and gain confidence! Proud of this boy.
Not everyday has been nice lately, but last weekend we were lucky enough to have 1 really warm day. The kids (and an extra) had fun jumping on the trampoline with the hose while Matt & I set things up in the backyard. I’m excited that it’s all coming together and will be sharing here soon!
Cohen’s 7th birthday is in June and a few days ago he presented me with his official birthday list. I LOVE this and will save this forever. Lucky boy is getting all but that XBox. Not happening, now way, no how, not if I have anything to say about it. 
My poor craft room has been neglected since last fall. I finally took the time to get in there and clean up, throw things away and re-organize. I can’t wait to see it all finished up and actually spend some time in there! Please tell me that I’m not the only one with a room this messy!
This is a favorite spot in our home. It’s in the hallway that I walk through numerous times a day and I love having photos of our family and some family who are far away, pictures of my hometown, my grandma, etc. It’s nice to see happy pictures throughout the day.
What has your week been like? Do you have exciting plans for Memorial Day weekend?
We’ll be spending time as a family and some time with friends. And most importantly we’ll take some time to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
